Cat Name: Ziggy
Breed: British shorthair
Colour: Ginger with markings, white tummy and legs, and stripy tail
Microchipped: Yes
Neutered: Yes
Wearing A Collar:
Collar Colour:
Temperament/Personality: Very friendly and inquisitive, quite vocal at humans for attention or food (whiny yowl), roams around local gardens, up on fences, does chase other cats and sometimes comes home with scratched nose, will lie down anywhere eg in pile of leaves, quite daring and stupid, will scramble around, very loud purr, very secure and loved. Doesn't really like being picked up but will come to you if he knows you and lie on or next to you and show you his tummy and stretch out. Does downward dog alot.
Missing Circumstances: Last seen with me at home then went out through cat flap to back garden late on Friday eve (15th) and hasn't come back since. He usually comes in and out throughout night and day to eat and sleep. He's not ill or disabled, i strongly suspect has fallen or got trapped somewhere locally (eg shed, behind a fence etc). He doesn't go out the front and i've never seen him in the road, i think he just sticks to back gardens which back onto our row (Dunlace Road and Glenarm road, bordered by Median Rd). He's known on sight by neighbours as he sits outside their back doors trying to play/fight with other cats, and goes fencehopping. They've not seen him for a few days though. I've flyered everyone in the street asking them to check shedsl will be flyering lamposts today and go door to door too. Wondering if someone has picked him up thinking he's stray. Have checked local vets and local messageboards.
