Benny is a lovely cat who needs a calm environment to settle down.<\/div>\n

Ben has been on his own for a long time with no one taking much notice of him.\u00a0 He’s been passed between various people quite a few times in a very short period of time before he came to us @ Stokey Cats and Dogs.<\/div>\n

He was unsettled, shy, scared, nervous, and obviously un-neutered.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

A couple of months later, Benny started showing his lovely character and friendly personality but he is still shy and a bit nervous, especially with people that he doesn’t know. He loves attention and fuss but he’s shy and not sure if he can let his guard down.<\/div>\n

We are looking for a calm home, with adults only or older children\/teenagers who will give Benny time and space to settle down.<\/div>\n

Benny is quite happy being indoor-only so we are happy to consider an indoor-only home however please get familiar with our policy of “indoor-only cats” prior to applying to avoid disappointment.<\/div>\n

Our rehoming policy of indoor-only cats:<\/strong><\/em> Please note that adopting an indoor-only cat means that windows\/doors cannot be left open in any room to which the cat has access. We suggest child locks in the windows so the cat can’t push windows wider than they are set and can’t escape. Unfortunately, cats cannot be trained to be indoor-only – they must be supervised. We rehome cats as indoor-only if they were indoor so far or have health issues, are older or their character\/temperament is such that allows them to be happy indoors. Additionally, all members of the house (and visitors) must agree to keep doors and windows closed or secured. If there is a balcony it must be fully cat-proofed (netting all the way) so the cat cannot jump out and injure himself or die.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
