On Tuesday, 9 November, I got the most devastating news 
Our lovely GiGi has suddenly passed away.
She had regular check ups after her spay surgery and was given all clear on Friday then on Tuesday morning she suddenly died, leaving 3 kittens behind.
The autopsy showed fluids on her chest and in her tummy as well as dilated arteries which could indicate a heart failure or FIP but we don’t think that FIP would kill a cat within 3 days.
We are all very sorry to break this news to our followers, especially as some of you were interested in adopting GiGi and her kitten Roz.
There is also an element of shock as it was so quick and unexpected.
GiGi was found abandoned in a cat carrier a few months ago. She wasn’t chipped and she was pregnant. She gave birth to 5 kittens but sadly 2 of them were stillborn. GiGi was a great mum to her kittens and she was a lovely cat herself. GiGi was very young, less than a year old, only a kitten herself. It’s such a shame she left us so suddenly.
We arranged for GiGi’s individual cremation and her ashes will be put to rest together with her kittens that didn’t make it to this world.
