Circumstances: I first spotted the cat on the canal path at Halloween , it was very friendly walking around approaching people. I think it was attracted to my boat as I leave food out for the foxes in the evening.
At that time I asked up and down the moored boats to see if it was a lost boat cat, but with no success. I don’t think it’s a boat cat.
I have seen the cat regularly and I have fed it as it is hungry.
The cat has no collar. I have tried attaching a paper collar, asking for any info etc, but they keep coming of after a few hours. I have put up posters on nearby roads with no response.
I’m currently not staying on my boat as my partner is unwell, but I’m visiting daily to check all is ok.
I would love for the cat to get the care and attention it needs.
